I love site like Southen Savers, I heart publix, and so many others that do the coupon match ups every week. They have saved me soooo much time and money! However, I spend ALOT of time flipping through my All You Magazine every month if I don't sit down and cut each coupon out when I get it. So I have put together a page listing of the coupons that are in the subscription edition of the October All You. Hopefully it will help you save some time as well. Also, if you don't have a subscription you need one. It saves tons of money each month. If your interested in ordering do so though Southern Savers, you can get a great deal and each month a portion of the subscrption products go to a different food bank. Its a win win!

HOLY COW I WON!

Anybody ever used Bid Cactus? It's one of those penny bid action websites. For some reason back in April I got a little bundle of bids, you purchase bids up front and then you can bid on any of the many live auctions they have going around the clock. I used a few of them playing around but quickly realized winning was impossible. Each auction has a time limit but in the final seconds of the auction if a bid is placed it will `1o to 2o seconds to the clock. If your in a bidding war with someone, how will it ever stop if the time keeps increasing? How is there ever a winner? Luck people, luck and I have no idea how but for some reason luck is on my side tonight because I just WON!!! I still can't believe it, I'm so excited! Most people around me know about the debacle that became my great intentions for a fire pit for our back yard. It looks a little raggidy back there I must admit. Well raddigy no more my friends! Tonight I won an awesome fire pit. Its a free standing, wood burning fire pit and the cheapest I can find it online is at Amazon.com and its $140 there. Well my little boredom purchased bids got me that same fire pit for .97! I had to pay shipping but even with the shipping my grand total for this expensive fire pit was $25!!!!! Woo hoo I can't wait to get it, I will surely post some pictures! Yay!!!! Oh and when we get it we are roasting some marshmallows and making some smores and yes your invited!

Girls Trip Girls Trip!!

So the girls and I decided to have a girls weekend. Kenzie has been after me forever to do something just the 3 of us and so we took off to Gatlinburg. We have had quite an adventure already, which has proven to me that A) God is good, B) traveling with children is an adventure in and of itself, and C) I'm alot tougher than I thought. Here's why. 25 away from home Raegan starts yelling from the back seat, "Ma, Ma". I look back to see her holding her hand up in the air coated in something. Upon further investigation I see that it is poop, and its all in her car seat as well. Cut to me on the side of the freeway cleaning her and the car seat up. Interesting beginning. An hour later we stop to stretch our legs. We went to Petsmart to see, well we saw EVERY creature they had in there at least 3 times. Then we walked on down to Target, a Target I have never seen before. It had a huge grocery store. My being so engrossed in this cool Target may have been why I missed the signs. Either way about 10 minutes later, while looking at school supplies (you know, the busiest part of the store on tax free weekend) Raegan throws up. And throws up and throws up all over her and my feet and her lamby. Not good. I get her to the bathroom with a little bottle of soap and wet paper towels and wipe she and I both down. As I'm heading to the register to pay for my little bottle of soap I reach in my pocket for my check card and find only my drivers license. I was not walking all the way to the car and back for a .99 bottle of Johnson & Johnsons so I left the bottle there. Now I am a Target thief. We headed on up to Pigeon Forge, along with 50 million other people who from the looks of the traffic, all drove separate cars. We decided to walk across the street to an ATM to get some cash so that I can wash all the vomit clothes. I held Raegan while we ran across only to find that on the other side she was missing a shoe. Really? So on the way back we look everywhere and no shoe. How did that happen? We only went 30 steps across one road!! Either way we are now short one flip flop. So the end of day 1 is here. We are short a flip flop, have been vomited on 3 times and changed 5 diarrhea diapers, realized I left Raegans bathing suit at home, carried Raegan in a store with nothing on but a diaper (one of my biggest baby no nos in the universe!!!), swam, jumped on beds, splashed in the tub and had so much fun! We have laughed and giggled and already I think that this is so worth it all. This time with them is so priceless and I know that I don't have to many more years with them that they want to do girls weekends with me. So, I am going to snuggle up with my babies and snooze because tomorrow is a new day and Kenzie has a list of things to do already. There is no telling what is going to happen tomorrow! Say a prayer. No, say 3!

This just made me giddy!!

While I was at Rite Aid today, I happened to overhear a conference call between the general manager and all the local managers. The GM was telling the local managers how "coupon collectors" are really bringing alot of business into their stores and that it was time to get away from this advisary type relationship that the cashiers have with them!! He explained to them the difference between a manufacturers and store coupon, stacking policys and that an item that is on sale B1G1 is totally free if a customer has a B1G1 coupon. I was particularly happy to hear him tell the managers that the attitude that couponers are stealing from the store has to change and that we are in fact bringing alot of revenue into their stores buy using our coupons even if we pay $5 for $50 worth of merchandise because of their reimbursements!
**Also, there are going to be more Rite Aid store coupons coming soon!!**
I was thrilledto say the least! Rite Aid, for me, has always seemed like the least coupon friendly store I use and to hear this was great! I spoke with the manager and told him I am one of those coupon people and if he needed any help at all with explaining coupons to his cashier I would be more than happy to help. His response was, "Great, thank you very much. You guys know the policys better than the cashiers!". Well, yeah we do!
