Publix really is a pleasure to shop at! And especially on Wednesdays. My area is located in the land of half price bogo, meaning when you purchase 2 products that are on sale Buy One Get One Free they ring up half price each. And on Wednesdays we have the secret penny item which today was Publix Frosted Flakes. I didn't have a chance to make a picture of the score but I did however scan the receipt for ya. You can see that I paid &7.07 oop and I saved $47.91, which is an 87% savings. I like it! Since I didn't make a picture I will give you the run down.

I accomplished quite a few things with this trip so I'm very excited!

-My 9 yr old has a birthday coming up in 2 weeks and the lipstick, fingernail polish and eyeshadow applicators are going to be added to some other little items and make a make up bag for her to do make over with.

-The fake nail kits will be going into the Christmas toy fund I am working on. If you have no clue what I'm talking about, you can read my previous post about Couponing for Christmas here. You can see the running list of the couponing for christmas here.

-All of the make up (except the mascara I desperatly needed) will be added to my donation bag. I keep this bag on a shelf above my washing machine. When it gets full, I transfer it to a box and when the box gets full I donate it to a shelter or some other charity center who can use it.
