I don't have a Kroger in my immediate area but there is one about 25 minutes away and for a great sale, like the mega event coming soon, I will head down there. I love the store! I have a Kroger shopping card, which is like a Bi-Lo card only Kroger accepts e-coupons so you can load them on your card, swipe it at check-out, and save in addition to your paper coupons. Right now you can play Kroger's March to savings game here. There are over 80,000 prizes to be given away between April 6th. Prizes include a $5 store credit, coffee, coke, cheese, etc. all loaded onto your card when you win! You don't have to do anything except swipe your card to redeem your winnings!
